“I have laid out in my head all the kind words I wanted to say about Ryan and the Outer Limits. As I sit here typing, I realize those mental bullet points weren’t even scratching the surface on how remarkable Ryan is.
Seven years ago my significant other was killed protecting me from another man’s physical abuse. We were simply walking down the street when some drunk 21 year old decided he had the right to lay hands on me. This punk kid then sucker punched my husband causing him to hit his head on the sidewalk, causing an instant brain bleed leading to his passing.
I was two months post partum with our daughter. I was in such a dark mental space. I was consumed with all the questions about the afterlife. Forget what we were taught growing up. Forget the Bible. Forget heaven and hell. Forget it all. I wanted different answers. I wanted to feel. I wanted rescued from my mental suicide. I needed help. Of course I was in therapy. But there was just so much crying I could handle. There was only so much of the “looks” of sadness I could receive anymore before going mad. I needed a different kind of help. I reached out to Ryan after stumbling across The Outer Limits. I listened to a few episodes of the podcast and instantly felt drawn to him/the podcast. Ryan instantly responded. His heart lead his words. Without hesitation Ryan instantly started helping pick up the pieces of my brokenness and start repairing me.
Ryan connected me with elders from his podcast who were just as quick to jump onboard to be there for me. Some 31 year old new mom who now added the title widow to her name. Ryan arranged for me to have readings from mediums. Ryan gave me specific episodes to listen to that he knew my heart needed to hear. Ryan just cared.
As my journey of healing continued, Ryan and the entire Outer Limits was never not by my side. When I came to a place Ryan knew I was ready to no longer be the one needing to be healed, he asked if I would like to be a part of the family who helped others who are now where I once was.
